Paul comes to his communication focus from a number of intersections. His studies began with history, shifted to communications and finished with political science. His interests were realized in political economy and how new information and communication technologies were radically changing the way societies organized and grew. Where past and future is colliding with the present. He was becoming a storyteller, although his degree from Simon Fraser University said B.A. Honours.
Building upon the critical thinking skills of an Arts degree, Paul is mastering his knowledge of markets with a Business Systems Analyst certificate through the University of British Columbia. Both degree and certificate inform his own observations of transforming local, regional and global business and the opportunities and challenges for clients.
Paul’s research skills have been proven in the working world with contributions to a local hospital’s successful fundraising efforts, while his analytical labour market reports have helped land funding proposals. Providing clients with performance improvement support and well-crafted documents has led to their sustainable employment.
He’s now focusing on helping people improve communications, launching corporate blogs and providing digital coaching and communication consulting. Whether working with professionals or organizations within the community or under his own Duckbeaver brand, Paul has consistently delivered more value-added service for stakeholders.
